With its many characteristics Brass is found in a wide range of applications. The alloy of copper and zinc can be adapted to the specific application - by the addition of other alloying metals. Common processing fields of brass are the drinking water installation, the production of lamps and the furniture industry.

Characteristics

The material with the gold-like color is characterized by a high torsional and bending quality. Brass is harder than copper, but not as hard as bronze. The non-magnetic material sprays no sparks when processed. It is especially suitable for areas that needs both a high mechanical stability and electrical conductivity.
